  1. What is War Child?

War Child is striving for a world where children’s lives are no longer torn apart by war.

War can be particularly devastating for children. They often find themselves separated from their families and at huge risk of physical harm, violence, abuse or sexual exploitation. Children, if severely affected, can suffer from physical and psychological damage that can last a lifetime.

We protect, educate, and stand up for the rights of children caught up in conflict. We aim to reach children as early as possible when conflict breaks out and stay to support them through their recovery – helping to keep them safe, give them an education, and equip them with skills for the future.

War Child Australia is part of the international War Child family and partner of War Child UK. Together with our partners we deliver our vital, life-saving work in nine countries across Africa, Asia and the Middle East.

  1. What is War Child Presents?

War Child Presents is a partnership between War Child Australia, ARIA Week, Secret Sounds, Warner Music, and Comes with Fries.

ARIA Week presents a program of special one-off gigs, showcases, conferences and events taking place in and around Sydney in celebration of Australian music coinciding with the 2018 ARIA Awards with Apple Music.

Presented in partnership with the NSW Government through its tourism and major events agency, Destination NSW, ARIA Week will once again see Sydney abuzz with the very best new artists and groundbreaking music industry conferences, showcasing the wealth of talent and opportunity the Australian music scene has to offer.
