Secret Sounds & Jack Daniel’s Present: Live At Last

Last Dinosaurs & Dear Seattle at The Triffid, Brisbane | Wednesday 28 April

Hockey Dad at The Lansdowne, Sydney | Thursday 29th April.

Live music has been on pause but Jack Daniel’s is pressing play.

You can get up close and personal with these amazing Australian acts in a one-of-a-kind intimate show.

An Australian duo whose music is an upbeat blend of garage rock and indie rock, Hockey Dad is the sound of two friends having a smart, unpretentious good time when they’re not busy surfing or skating. Their 2016 debut album, Boronia, captured the bright, youthful sound that sparked their initial success.

Australian indie-pop legends Last Dinosaurs are the perfect band to celebrate Australian live music. The success of their first two albums, 2012’s In A Million Yearsand 2015’s Wellness established them as stalwarts of the international indie-rock scene. Selling out shows across Australia as well as huge headlining tours and festival plays across the UK and Europe, Southeast Asia and South Africa, Last Dinosaurs have supported international acts such as Foals, Two Door Cinema Club, Bloc Party and Foster the People and made appearances at festivals worldwide.

Add the wild live show of Dear Seattle to the mix and you’ve got yourself one huge night in Brisbane! The band’s 2017 self-titled EP led them to tours with the likes of Kingswood, Hockey Dad and Trophy Eyes and play festival slots at Groovin The Moo, Unify, Party In The Paddock and Bigsound. Their singles ‘The Meadows’ and ‘Afterthought’ received handsome triple j airplay and the band signed with Domestic La La, the record label spearheaded by Violent Soho guitarist James Tidswell, who was blown away by the quartet’s searing live show.
