Just when you thought the Splendour In The Grass weekend couldn’t get any bigger, we’re back to announce the Official Splendour Pre Party taking place in Brisbane!

So if you’re holding the fort back in Brissie, you can still get in on the festival action with two awesome lineups featuring a bunch of Splendour 2015’s finest!

Swagger. The Dandy Warhols have it in spades. Although they’d already had some success with their first release ’The Dandys Rule OK’ in 1995, it was their 2000 album ‘Thirteen Tales From Urban Bohemia” that captured the zeitgeist and catapulted them to international fame.

They have released a total of eleven albums. They’ve been the subjects of an award winning documentary, Dig!. Think of a festival, they’ve played it!  The band recently released their new hit ‘Chauncey P vs All The Girls In London’ and are working on their next album. Look out  Splendour In The Grass, here comes Courtney Taylor-Taylor, Peter Holmström, Zia McCabe and Brent DeBoer …The Dandy Warhols!

They’ve sold out countless shows and played to packed stages around the world and now Last Dinosaurs are back on home turf. The celebrated Brisbane four-piece has been working hard on a new album set to drop later this year. Expect tropical vibes and infectious pop hooks with driven indie rock sounds and sensibilities.
Having shared the stage with some of the best local and international acts around and with a new single out in time for Splendour… we can’t wait to see what these guys pull out of the bag on stage.

Their recent massive tour of Europe made it clear that the wider world is finally waking up to the joys of Australia’s best-kept secret!
No-frills is pretty much Dune Rats’ motto (actually, they’d probably drop another word starting with c in there too). This is punk-rock at its most instantly disarming and infectiously high-spirited. A ‘skateboarding in the daytime, drinking through the night’ kinda soundtrack.

Hot on the heels of the release of their highly anticipated debut LP “Young Chasers”, which debuted at #7 on the British charts, the boys will bring a hit-after-hit set list including ‘T-Shirt Weather’, triple j’s current spin ‘Fossils’ and festival favourites ‘So Long’, ‘Get Away’, ‘Stuck in My Teeth’ and ‘Young Chasers’.

The Liverpool four-piece were crowned ‘Best Band at Glastonbury 2015’ by NME readers, following their incredible set on the John Peel stage on the Friday, and are fast becoming one of THE bands of the summer with other major festival appearances coming up including T in the Park and Reading/Leeds.
