Rinse & Repeat has been one of the biggest anthems to shake the walls of clubs worldwide this year, amassing over 50 million streams and just (not) quietly, going on to become one of the top 10 most played tracks on BBC Radio 1.
After seeing out 2017 with a Grammy nomination for Best Dance Record, one of the UK’s brightest DJ’s and producers, Riton and Nigerian singer-songwriter, Kah-Lo come to Australia as part of the mammoth Splendour In The Grass lineup.
Both admit there’s chemistry, as their now fifth record together, ‘Fake ID’ is familiar in flow and is gathering similar support from DJ’s and listeners here, there and everywhere. Time to make the club go up.
Supporting this tour will be Antony & Cleopatra; the product of a pop writing session gone astray. The soulful dance music that Antony & Cleopatra make is classic sounding, yet completely modern. It is graceful, yet powerful. Their take on electronica is much inspired by late 80s US house and 70s disco as it is done by UK garage and bass-heavy sounds of today, Finding inspiration in all things classic: sights, feelings, textures and motives, couped with new technology come new sounds, new ways of doing things, thus bringing the past into the future.
